Michaela Wyman-Colombo is a Mashpee Select Board member and the Town of Mashpee representative at Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates.
Michaela is consistently available to Mashpee residents, holding monthly office hours. She learns from other Cape Cod and Massachusetts leaders through regular participation in county and state organizations. She brings knowledge from these interactions to decision making for the Town of Mashpee. She is a problem solver and a consensus builder, who actively listens and gets things done.
In her previous career Michaela was a college professor, graduate coordinator and most recently, chair of the College of Education at UMass Lowell. She has led many large-scale projects and has secured millions of dollars of competitive grant funding.
When she's not working for Mashpee, Michaela enjoys distance hiking, cold water swimming, gardening and going to concerts with her husband Paul. They share their home with two happy cats.
